  • 12 Hours of Training

    The 2018 course provides 12 hours of training to help participants identify the birds that they will hear and see in the Ottawa area.

  • Tips & Tricks

    The training includes tips, tricks and technology for song learning, data gathering methods, point count protocol and visual and auditory identification of the most common bird species found in the Ottawa area.

  • Practice

    As it gets warmer, there will be some opportunity for outdoor field practice.
